Requirements

Requirements

Operator-facing setup expectations for getting the product into a usable state without turning the page into a dense manual.

Environment Requirements

  • Windows workstation joined to the target environment or with line-of-sight access to a domain controller.
  • Supported for administrative teams working in Active Directory environments with existing onboarding templates or standards.
  • Designed for operator-led use rather than unattended background execution.

Connectivity Requirements

  • The application does not require internet access, cloud services, or external network dependencies for licensing or runtime use.
  • The workstation must be able to reach the target domain controllers and any required internal directory services used during provisioning.
  • CSV import workflows rely on local or network-accessible source files prepared by the operating team.
  • LDAP is required for directory browsing and template preparation.
  • LDAPS is required for user provisioning and write-based directory actions.
  • Domain Admin privileges are not required. Delegated provisioning permissions are supported.

Minimum Permissions

  • An account with permission to create users in the intended organizational units.
  • Rights to apply the group memberships, attributes, and template-driven settings used by your workflow.
  • Local permission to install and run the desktop application on the operator workstation.

Recommended Setup

  • Prepare one or more baseline templates before rolling the tool into routine onboarding work.
  • Validate naming standards, default groups, and OU targets in a lab or non-production OU first.
  • Keep approved CSV formats and provisioning templates under team change control so operators use a consistent input format.

Quick Start

Quick Start

Practical first-run guidance for admins validating the product in a controlled environment.

  1. Step 1

Install the build and apply the license

Install the application on a Windows admin workstation, then apply the provided license file so the product can run in full mode.

  2. Step 2

    Configure the target domain context

Open the product, confirm the domain or directory target you intend to manage, and verify the operator account has access to the correct organizational units and groups.

  3. Step 3

    Create or review provisioning templates

Set up the template definitions your team will use for common onboarding cases. Confirm default values, OU placement, and group assignments before operators begin using them.

  4. Step 4

    Run a single-user validation

Create one test account in a lab or non-production OU to validate the template output, naming pattern, and group membership behavior.

  5. Step 5

    Move into repeatable operations

Once the template flow is validated, use either the guided create-user flow or the CSV import flow for routine provisioning work, and review the activity log after each run.
